Short trek in the heart of the Annapurna. This trek takes you to the trail less traveled. We pass through rhododendron forests ( in bloom from February to March) and Gurung villages to the Eagle nest perched on the ridge at Kopra. On return we head to the less visited Mohare Danda which provides views that even beat the Poonhill. Walking hours too being comfortable on the legs is a good trek for 1st timers.

ITINERARY
After passing through immigration at Tribhuwan International Airport and collecting your baggage. You can find our airport representative waiting for you outside the airport. You will be taken to the vehicle that has been sent for you which shall take you to your hotel in Kathmandu. According to
the time you arrival, you might have time to discover the surrounding area or some of the heritage sites that are situated around.
The 2nd largest city of Nepal- Pokhara which lies in the footsteps of the mighty Annapurna is around 200kms from Kathmandu. After driving around 6hrs we will reach our destination upon which we check in and freshen up. We can walk around the lake of Phewa in the evening to enjoy the sunset.
After breakfast, we get into our vehicle and head towards kimche which is 1hr drive from Pokhara. From kimche, the trail goes upwards to the village of Chane where we find beautiful panoramas. From Chane, the trail goes upwards to the village of Ghandruk. Splendid views of the Annapurnas and Machhapuchre are highlights of this place. After having lunch we continue our climb towards Komrong Danda pass – 2650m where very nice views of Machhapurchhre welcome us. A balcony path then takes us to the village of Melanje and Chuile. The path further straightens and crosses a forest of rhododendron trees that bloom from the month of March. On the ridge lies Tadapani that offers plunging views of the trail that leads to the Annapurna Sanctuary. Annapurna III – 7555m and Gangapurna – 7454m have a dominating views here.
Today we quit the main trail that goes to Ghorepani and follow the trail used only by the locals. We pass via rhododendron forest and then arrive at a water buffalo pasture. Short grass is a precious commodity here. The panorama of Annapurnas that emerge above the tree line here is amazing.
We leave our lodge early today to catch the sunrise. We then go via the rhododendron forest. At the top, the Dhaulagiri makes it’s appearance and completes the spectacle of Annapurna South, Huinchuli, and Machhapurchhre. Walking on the ridge, going through a small pass and then making a long descend into the rhododendron we reach the bottom of the valley. Then we climb up to reach our Lodge.
Today’s path crosses a beautiful rhododendron forest to a small sacred pond. The trail then winds between the blocks and joins a spur from where we can catch the remarkable view of Dhaulagiri. We then go further towards the Kopra Community Lodge. After Lunch we further our hike on the ridge
until we reach the Kopra Community Lodge.
Today we take a path that descends steadily and steeply. This area is known for it’s wildlife. There is a possibility to spot the Himalayan Thar or Danphe. We find the dense forest of rhododendron pass by the lodge of Chistibung before reaching a wooden bridge. The path is well marked and pleasantly leads you to Swanta.
Walking in the middle of the rice fields we descend to a small river and take a quick glance at the water mill supplying water in the villages around. Then on we cross a suspension bridge and up to the village of Chittre. We then join a wider path that links Tatopani to Ghorepani. The trail climbs to reach the village of Ghorepani. The view from here of our earlier days trail is magnificent.
Today is the last day of our trek. We enjoy the views of the mountains one last time and then we head toward Hille. Upon arrival, we get into our car and drive to Pokhara.
Today we head east of Pokhara in the direction of Kathmandu. The drive lasts around 6hrs. Upon arrival check-in at your hotel. The rest of the day can be used to shop for souvenirs or a visit to the spa.
Today will good memories you shall be taken to the airport by our transfer. The check-in counter opens around 3hrs before your flight time. Wishing you a good flight back home and hoping to see you again.

It generally depends upon the time and season of your travel. Nepal is a conservative country it advisable not to wear revealing clothes that looks offensive; it should not be too short or tight. Medium-weight and easy to wash cottons are recommended year-round. If you arrive during the winter months, than woolen sweaters, jackets or similar warm outfits is required. Carry comfortable walking shoes, including sandals and athletic shoes. A head cover may be required for women and men at sacred sites and places of worship.
